Hotel Bera is a unique 4-star hotel perfectly located in the city centre and 15 km from Konya Airport. The most famous building in Konya is the Green Mausoleum of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumii, the great Turkish philosopher, poet and the founder of the sect of Whirling Dervishes. It has been converted into a museum in 1927 and since then it is one of the most visited museums in Turkey with more than two million visitors a year. Every year in December, ceremonies are held in Konya or the commemoration of Mevlana and the Whirling Dervishes.
