C. Learning the Nature

From the spactacular landscape of greenish rice paddy field, the cool of northern wind and the earthly smell of fresh air, all guests will enjoyably absorb the cultural experiences of northern rice plantation. Travelling only 2 kilometers with unforgettable rice scenery by'E-Tan", a local transportation, the guests will have an opportunity to get a real experience of rice planting and harvesting.

We invite our guests to learn the secret of tea cultivation, and to experience the mixture of different of traditional tribes, such as Karen, Yao, Lahu, Yunan, Hmong and Akha, in the same community througt their architectural structures and beliefs.

E. Doi Chang

Another must visit attraction in Chiang Rai, Doi Chang is one of the largest coffee grown
community in Thailand. It is also known for being the agricultural research center in Chiang Rai.
A perfect spot for sightseeing, along the way uphill, there will be series of coffee plantations,
macadamia, and all kinds of seasonal fruits, which these products will be distributed throughout
the country. At the top of Doi Chang, many sightseeing spots, especially for sunrise and sunset,
are provided for tourists, including the national park and the community's research facility. For
being a well preserved environmenatal community, the road up to Doi Chang is possible using only
the four-wheels drive vehicle.

F. The Northern Thai Porcelain

Exploring the art of pottery of the lost historical city, "Wat Wieng KaLong", a religious related
place where the story of five Bodhisattvas, "Na-Mo-Budd-Tha-Ya", begins. Each detail painted
on the pottery has its own significance toward history of the city, and intended for and educational
aspect for the younger generation. Learn about the process of making and the history of pottery
and ceramic products, which have been chosen by the APEC as one of the best handicraft of Chiang Rai.
With the help of professional assistant, the activity is a good fun for the whole family. Parents try to duplicate the original pattern drawings; children try to figure out how to get the clay pot into shape, as they spend time together.
