The closest airport is situated at Nakorn si Thammarat about 30 minutes by car (48 km) from Ekman Garden Resort. There are regular flights three times a day between Nakorn si Thammarat and Bangkok. The flight takes 1 hour 15 minutes. However the timescedule doesn`t suit the flights from Scandinavia perfectly.Therefore it may be better to go to SuratThani airport which is 90 minutes (100km) from the resort. There are motorroads from both airports to Ekman Garden Resort.
The transportation from the airports has to be administered by the resort, since regular bus traffic between the cities is to difficult for a non Thai speaking passenger to understand.The price of transport depends on how many persons there are to be transported at the same time and of course of the distance.Count about 1,000-2,000 Bath per person
The left-hand driving and the general traffic is demanding but not impossible for a good driver if the guest likes to rent a car. Important directions are written in western letters.
