Aquatics center is professionally run by a highly experienced team of qualified instructors, with hundreds of certifications and thousands of dives. All courses up to and including Assistant Instructor are conducted on-site.
Largely unexplored, much of Koh Kood has never been seen before. The entire island has a relatively untouched eco-system above and below the water. Here at Koh Kood Aquatic center we have embraced an Eco-tourist ethos, requiring our divers to sign an eco awareness statement before diving. Our Unique approach to both wet and dry activities helps us strive to preserve this beautiful tropical island whilst you enjoy every aspect of your holiday.
Dive Courses
If you're looking for a convenient way to try scuba, look to a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience provided by Away Resorts Diver Center to broaden your horizons. You can jump into this program near home in a pool, or on vacation near open water. All courses include manuals, certification, and lunch box. |
Although the main activity at Away Resorts is simple relaxation, we do offer a number of interesting activities for those that to do a little more. Fortunate for Away Koh Kood guests, is the fact that the resort offers Koh Kood’s only water an activity center.

Tours can be tailored made to suit the time and interest of guests, but the following are a few which always prove popular with guests.
Klong Chao Waterfall: Is the famous waterfall which King Rama IV visited, and is particularly spectacular. With three tiers, it brims with glittering water all year round, superb for soaking and swimming. Away resorts is located at the entrance to the river, so canoe and kayak trips from the resort can be taken upstream to the waterfalls. |
