Arrival - Chiang Mai

Depart Bangkok for Chiang Mai. On arrival in Chiang Mai Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel. Rest for a few hours and our guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby for Khantoke Dinner with Thai Dance. (D)

(Northern Thai style dinner with charming Thai dances and also the hilltribe shows which are performed by Akha, Yao, Meo, Lisu, Lahu and Karen tribe)

After dinner, transfer back to hotel or drop off at Night Bazaar.

Chiang Mai City

Breakfast at hotel. Then our guide will pick you up to visit Wat Suan Dok Temple, which was built by King Kuna, see severals white stupa containing the ashes of Lanna King and Chiang Mai Royal Family. And not far from Suan Dok Gate, Wat Pra Singh temple compound includes the Lai Kam Chapel.

The most important temple in Chiang Mai with a biggest Chidee is Chide Luang temple but the oldest temple in Chiang Mai is Chiang Man temple, built by the King Meng Rai.

Drive around the old city, you can see the City Moat and the Ruin City Gate. Continue to visit the largest central market, Wororot Market. Almost everything is available in the market at reasonable prices.

After breakfast at the hotel. Take long journey tour from Chiang Mai by road along picturesaque scenic routes pass the beautiful Northern mountain and valleys via the Hot Spring at Maekachan District and Chiang Rai to visit Yao and Akha hilltribe villages, explore the villages which are very simple, unique costumes, their own tradition and dialect, the trip continue to "Mae Sai", the Myanmese border and the Northern most point of Thailand. Enjoy shopping the Myanmese items, lunch at the local restaurant.

Then visit the world famous "Golden Triangle", the land of three countries met (Laos, Myanmar & Thai). See the panoramic view of Maeklong River. Visit the archiological remains at "Chiang Sean", the first capital of Northern Thai. Transfer back to Chiang Mai. (B,L)
