Regency Room
This wood-panelled hall with an outdoor pavilion provides a stunning view of the Indian Ocean and golden sands, as it sits at a lofty height. It accommodates up to 250 guests (pavilion area included).
Horizon Room
This cozy room, with a spectacular view of the distant horizon across the ocean, accommodates up to 150 persons.
La Fontaine
The La Fontaine reception room sits high above the sandy beaches and offers a spectacular view of the ocean from every table. It is ideal for cozy family occasions of 50-150 people.
Imperial Room
This room, boasting a stunning view of the Indian Ocean, is situated in the Governor's Wing. It is an ideal venue for small weddings, seminars, workshops and private parties. This is the former location of Sri Lanka's first night club, the Little Hut.
Conference Room
Situated in the Governor's Wing, this cozy room is ideal for meetings, seminars, training sessions or private dinners.
Maitland State Room
The Maitland State Room is located on the top floor of the hotel and is part of Sir Thomas Maitland's original mansion built in 1806. This elegant room is designed in period style with high ceilings and wooden flooring and contains portraits of former Governors of Ceylon, a painting of Lovina and a majestic chandelier at the centre. The room is ideal for small cocktails, meetings and seminars.
Tropical Hut
Similar to the Beach Hut, but larger in size, the Tropical Hut can be used for weddings with up to 120 guests inside the hut. It is mainly used for events such as social gatherings, cocktails, beach parties, special events, theme parties and DJ nights. This venue can also be used for beach parties with up to 1,000 guests, if the beach is made use of. Sports events such as beach rugby or volleyball can also be staged from this venue.
Paradise Beach

Beach Hut
A Cadjan hut open on all sides with a sandy floor, which heightens the authentic beach feel, the Beach Hut has a rustic appearance which is further enhanced by the hurricane lamps lit in the evenings. This is an ideal venue for events such as social gatherings, cocktails, birthday parties, beach parties, theme parties and DJ nights. A La Carte is served at the Beach Hut from 8.00am until 7.00pm daily while a weekend grill is featured on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon to 5 pm.
