FACILITIES
Swimming Pool
An energizing morning dip, a relaxing pre-dinner plunge, fun and frolic all day long … has a more pleasant form of exercise or de-stressing than a swim ever been invented? Our large, uniquely designed swimming pool, abutting the Ehala and Lotus restaurants, has an adjoining shallow pool for children. Grab your swimsuit and jump right in. Or order a drink from the Tusker’s Bar nearby, and catch up on your reading or sunbathing. Barbecue nights by the poolside can be arranged on request.
Ayurvedic Spa
Lie back and soothe your senses at our very own Ayurvedic spa. A qualified ayurvedic doctor supervises the traditional massages, scrubs and baths as well as the signature treatments and therapies dispensed at our spa, set amidst our herb garden. Spa sessions start at 45 minutes, and go up to the special 5 hour Cinnamon Wellness package, which provides the ultimate in pampering.
Business Facilities
Away in the jungle doesn’t mean you need to be out of touch with your office. Our computer facilities and Internet access keep you connected, while every kind of secretarial assistance, from photocopying to typing and faxing, is provided on request.
Gift Shop
Can you imagine coming back from a holiday without doing any shopping? We can’t either. Our gift shop offers you a wide range of superbly crafted souvenirs for friends and family back home. Choose from wooden carvings, textiles, quality clothing, leather items, spices, and knick knacks from the neighboring villages.
Library
Curl up with a thriller or murder mystery from our collection of English, French or German novels, or try to identify the bird you saw outside your bedroom window in G.M Hearey’s "Birds of Sri Lanka". The library is part of our Ebony Lounge, so order yourself a snack or drink as you unravel the mystery.
Sports
Take in a game of tennis, go for a jog, sweat it out on our badminton court, or test your abilities at our pool table … you don’t have to give up your sporting habits at the Cinnamon Lodge! For those who would rather exercise their minds, there’s backgammon and chess.
