GUADALMINA BEACH Due to where it is and its characteristics this beach is situated within the town of San Pedro de Alcantara, next to the Guadalmina urbanization, being a 1.600 m long and 30 m. wide beach with thick golden sand that is typical to this area of the Mediterranean. This beach can be qualified as a tourist beach with a medium occupation level. Different water sports can be practiced here such as windsurf, jet skiing, pedalos, etc... Among the services offered is the four star Guadalmina Hotel, there are also two beach clubs and two "chiringuitos" (beach restaurants) with sun beds. Surrounding this beach we can find Bovedas, 3rd century historic ruins, situated within a protected archaeological area. The water is in good hygienic conditions, and the beach received the BLUE FLAG in 1992. The municipal cleaning delegation carries out the daily cleaning of the beach, both in summer and winter, manually and mechanically. LINDA VISTA BEACH With its location and characteristics it is situated close to the town of San Pedro Alcantara, next to the Linda Vista Urbanization, this beach is 550m long and 40m wide, with the same type of sand as the previous beach, so typical to this part of the Mediterranean. The beach can be classified as a tourist beach with a high occupation level and different waters ports can be practiced such as windsurf, pedalos, jet skiing, etc. Among the services included on the beach are two beach clubs and a beach bar. On the northern part of the beach there is a protected archaeological settlement at which it is possible to see the Vega Del Mar Paleo Christian Basilica. The sea is classified as being in good conditions, and the beach obtained the BLUE FLAG in 1992. SAN PEDRO DE ALCANTARA BEACH Due to its location and characteristics, this beach is situated in the urban area of San Pedro de Alcantara, it is a 1 km long beach and 35 m wide, made up by medium dark sand, proceeding from a regeneration project. The beach can be classified as a tourist beach with a high occupation level and different waters ports can be practiced such as windsurf, pedalos, jet skiing, etc. Among the services offered are a recently built promenade that goes all along the beach area. There are 6 beach restaurants with sun beds and one beach club with swimming pool, and paddle court, it also has a children's playing area on the beach, the use of which is free. The sea is classified as being in very good conditions, and the beach obtained the BLUE FLAG in 1992. NUEVA ANDALUCIA BEACH Due to its location and characteristics it is situated in the area of the urbanizations, next to Nueva Andalucia and close to Puerto Banus, it is 1.100m long and 30m wide, made up by fine blonde sand, typical of the Mediterranean area. It is a tourist beach with a high occupation level, different water sports are practiced here such as windsurf, jet skiing, pedalos, etc. Among the services offered there are four beach clubs with swimming pools and also six beach restaurants with sun beds. The sea is classified as being in good conditions, and the beach obtained the BLUE FLAG in 1992. RÍO VERDE BEACH Due to its location and characteristics, this beach is situated within the area of the Rio Verde Urbanization, next to the river with the same name, it is a 1.200 m long beach and 30 m wide, made up by black sand that proceeds mostly from the Rio Verde River. Close by are the remains of a Hispano Roman villa from the Ist century, known as the Rio Verde Roman Villa. It is a tourist beach with a medium occupation level, different water sports are practiced here such as windsurf, jet skiing, pedalos, etc. Among the services offered is the Coral Beach Hotel with four stars, as well as a beach club and three beach restaurants. EL ANCON BEACH Due to its location and characteristics this beach is situated next to the El Ancon Urbanization. It is 900 meters long and 20 meters wide, and is made up be fine blonde medium sand, of the type that is typical to this part of the Mediterranean. It is a tourist beach with a low occupation level. Among the installations available there are two beach restaurants. NAGÜELES BEACH Due to its location and characteristics this beach is situated on the Golden Mile of Marbella, next to the Marbella Club Urbanization. It is 800 meters long and some 50 meters wide, made up by blonde colored sand proceeding from a regeneration process. The beach is flanked by a recently built promenade. It is a tourist beach with a high occupation level, different water sports are practiced here such as windsurf, jet skiing, pedalos, etc. Among the services offered are two of the most representative hotels in Marbella, the Hotel Puente Romano and the Hotel Marbella Club, both with four stars, as well as two beach clubs and a beach restaurant. It is 300 m long and 35 m wide and the sand is of the autochthonous type, blonde and fine. It is a tourist beach with a high occupation level, different water activities are practiced here such as pedalos, etc. Among the services offered are two beach restaurants as well as children's games on the beaches that are free to use. Among the services offered are two beach restaurants with sun beds and a camping site. The sea is classified as being in good conditions, and the beach obtained the BLUE FLAG in 1992 and maintained the same until 1995. EL PINILLO BEACH Due to its characteristics and location, this beach is situated in a semi-urban area, next to the Los Monteros Urbanization. It is 1.500m long and 30m wide, with golden sand forming natural dunes. It can be classified as being a tourist beach with a low occupation level, situated in an area with large houses and green areas, with a medium density of population. It has a beach restaurant. The sea is classified as being in good conditions, and the beach obtained the BLUE FLAG in 1992 and maintained the same until 1995. LOS MONTEROS BEACH Due to its location and characteristics, this beach is in a semi-urban area, next to the Bahia de Marbella Urbanization, with 2 km in length and 50 m width. It is made up by fine golden sand, very typical of a sand dune area, and the beaches are rock free with shallow waters. It is a tourist beach with a high occupation level, at which it is possible to practice different water sports such as windsurf, pedalos, jet skiing, etc . Among the services offered is the Los Monteros Hotel with four stars as well as two beach restaurants and a beach club. It is 1.200 m long and 10 m wide and is a narrow beach that has been slightly deteriorated by storms. Fine golden sand and stones make it up. It can be classified as a tourist beach with a low occupation level. Among the installations available there are five beach restaurants, three with sun beds. ARTOLA BEACH Due to its location and characteristics, this beach is situated in a protected sand dune area, known as LAS DUNAS DE ARTOLA, next to the Cabopino Leisure Port. It is 1.500 m long and 25 m wide, made up by fine sand from the dunes. This beach is a naturist beach, with a medium occupation level. Within the beach is one of the prettiest Leisure Ports on the Costa del Sol, the port of Cabopino, as well as three beach restaurants and a camp site. Sailing artifacts and pedalos are available to be rented. The sea is classified as being in good conditions.
