Along the street frontage, the eye-catching, cylindrical pavilions play host to food and beverage outlets, as well as entertainment setups, like the ultra hip, exclusive Liquid Room dance club. Expansive glass ceilings encourage al fresco dining. Within the hotel itself, the first two floors feature a mix of high-end specialty retail outlets like the English furniture store, Living Room, where interactive shopping is the buzzword.

The Gallery aims to live up to its name. Within and without, the entirs building will serve as a showpiece gallery. Appointing the LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts as its curator of art, the hotel will hold new exhibitions every three months. These encompass a multi-media presentations, installation works, even dance and theatre.

The main reception lobby on the fourth floor literally stands tall with soaring ceilings. Minimalism marks the interior design, with the primary use of metal and glass for a modern take on industrialism. Metalloc cables, produced by a scaffolding manufacturer in Woodlands, extend from the ceiling, cutting right through tables to provide firm grounding. Colours hail from the corporate palette, and flatter soft furnishings like cushion covers and upholstery, which are changed daily for a fresh new look.

In guestrooms, all meticulously soundproofed with double glazed glass, design elements are sensitively integrated in keeping with the exterior. Tables of metal and glass add to the feel of luminous transparency. Even getting out of bed is a luminous experience, with sensors picking up every movement and lighting a subtle path to the bathroom.

Wardrobes cabinets constitute sliding frosted glass, timber paneling and streamlined metallic shelving. Facilities include 24-hour internet connectivity with free and unlimited access to the Net, as well as GSM cellular phones available for use.

Taller men and the handicapped literally have a place at this establishment, with custommade beds for different needs. Female business travelers are especially privileged. For their comfort and security, the entire fifth floor with 35 rooms is relegated solely for their use. Staff serving that particular floor are all female. A lounge area and libray shore up the comfort zone.
