This charming hotel is located on a scheduled private beach of Anse Petit Cour on the northwest side of Praslin in the midst of a large tropical garden. Sheltered by the surroundings hills and the nearby island of Curieuse, the calm and shallow bay with its turquoise waters and coral reef offer an ideal place for swimming all year round.

The La Reserve Hotel is still undertaking renovation work which is due for the completion by September 2006. It will consist of 40 sea view villas ( 32 deluxe and 8 Superior) new Pool Restaurant, pool bar, business centre, conference and banqueting facilities.

La Reserve provides individually decorated rooms all giving a particular Creole feel with local artist paintings adoring the walls, king sized four-poster beds and wooden furniture coupled with modern amenities such as satellite television, air con, ceiling fans, mini bar, tea & coffee-making facilities, lockable safes and hairdryers.


The 8 superior rooms are placed in either of the two colonial style buildings, one on the hillside, the other directly on the beach and the 32 new deluxe rooms all sea-facing are beautifully designed with an abundance of space and extensive bathrooms with sunken baths and walk-in showers.

La Reserve has two restaurants and two bars. Breakfast and dinner are served at the Jetty Restaurant, a covered jetty expanding outwards onto the sea.

The main bar of the Hotel is situated in a beautiful colonial style house decorated to create the perfect Creole atmosphere and with an exceptional view of the bay.
