GETTING TO TICAO ISLAND RESORT

The first step is to get to Legazpi City. By air, you can take an hour's plane ride from either Manila or Cebu. Cebu Pacific Air, Philippine Airlines, and Zest Air have frequent flights to Legazpi City.

Should you opt for land transfer, you also have the option to take a bus or a private van from Manila to Legazpi City.

Once in Legazpi City, Ticao Island Resort provides private arrangement to get to the resort. The travel will consist of land transfers in an air-conditioned vehicle and sea travel in an outrigger boat.

ROUTE OPTIONS ON PRIVATE TRANSFERS:

1. Legazpi - Bulan - Ticao Island Resort (vice versa)
2. Legazpi - Donsol - Ticao Island Resort (vice versa)
   * Best option if the guests wants to do whale shark interaction
      before heading to Ticao Island Resort of after coming from
      Ticao Island Resort.

1. Take a public bus, van, or shuttle to Pilar. (1-1.5h)
   (Note: It is also possible to take a public bus from Manila to Pilar; although trips are not as frequent and the ride may not be as comfortable as that of Manila to Legazpi.)
2. From Pilar, take a public ferry to Monreal. The public ferry leaves Pilar to Monreal at 12 noon daily. (Return trip from Monreal to Pilar as at 7am Daily).(1.5h)
3. From Monreal, take either a motorcycle or hire a boat to Ticao Island Resort. (20-30 mins)
