ITINERARY

DAY 1 Arrival in Manila

Tuesday

Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Manila.

DAY 2 Manila City tour

Wednesday

After breakfast, go on an introductory tour of Metro Manila, the main capital and gateway to all main island destinations in the country. Visit the old walled city of Intramuros and walk through its cobbled street, paved with Spanish colonial building and church plazas. Other highlights include Manila's tourist belt which is known for its antique and art galleries, curio and souvenir shops, museums, cafes and performance theaters; and the financial center and trendy shopping district of Makati City. Tour is inclusive of set lunch at a native restaurant. Overnight in Manila.

DAY 3 Manila/Banaue

Thursday

After breakfast, depart Manila for an 8 to 9 - hour land ride to Banaue, site of the Banaue Rice Terraces. Known as the "8th wonder of the world," the terraces were carved by hand out of the mountain ranges (altitude of about 1,200 meters) by native Ifugaos some 2,000 years ago. Check in at Hotel late in the afternoon. Overnight in Banaue.

DAY 4 Banaue

Friday

After breakfast, board a chartered "jeepney" for an awesome view of the terraces at the View Point. A visit to a native village to witness the daily life of the Ifugaos and bazaar, for an experience of the local color, follows to complete the day's itinerary. Overnight in Banaue.

DAY 5 Banaue

Saturday

After breakfast, proceed to Bontoc for a glimpse of the mountain life at the Bontoc Museum of Mountain Culture. Afterwards, drive to Sagada, past pinextree-clad mountains, and trek to the mystic tribal burial caves andxhanging coffins. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon. Overnightxin Banaue

DAY 6 Banaue/Manila

Sunday

After breakfast, return to Manila at leisure. Overnight in Manila

DAY 7 Manila/Boracay

Monday

After breakfast, proceed to domestic airport for flight to Caticlan or Kalibo. Upon arrival ransfer to Boracay, a 7-km. long island paradise which boasts of a stretch of powdery white sand beach, rated as one of the finest in the world. Check in resort. Overnight in Boracay.

DAY 8-9 Boracay

Tuesday - Wednesday

Daily breakfast in resort. Days at leisure in this ideal "sun-sea-sand" destination which is complemented by a myriad of activities and facilities catering to all types of travelers such as, windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, etc. and bars, discos with amazing light and sound equipment and wide range of restaurants. Overnight in Boracay.

DAY 10 Boracay/Manila

Thursday

Breakfast in the resort. At leisure before airport transfer for flight to Manila. In Manila, pick-up and transfer to the international airport for return flight.
