Remarks:
- 72 hours visa free is only applicable
to foreign nationals in transit throughout all of Malayisan
ports except for nationals from Israel, Montenego, Serbia. However
the passengers should arrive and depart from the port visa the
same vessel.
- Visas are issued by the Malaysian
Diplomatic Missions or the British Consulate in respective countries.

3. Exchange Control Act,
1953 - Traveller's Declaration
- Malaysia has set a new ruling with
with effect from October 1, 1998 whereby all travellers are required
to declare (in and out of Malaysia) verbally the amount of Ringgit
and foreign currency which is equivalent to Ringgit Malayisa.
- The import of Ringgit notes up to
RM1,000 only and any amount of foreign currency notes.
- The export of Ringgit notes up to
RM1,000 only and foreign currency up to the amount bought into Malaysia
for a non-Malaysian; upto equivalent to RM10,000 for Malaysia
