We felt it was ok, nothing special, perhaps expensive for what it offered. The meals in the restaurant were priced ridiculously high for very ordinary food and service in rather drab surroundings. The surrounding district was not a great environment. The hotel staff reception were very helpful at all times and we appreciated that. It was clean and we felt safe.

I always stay at the Nicols hotel when I have a stayover in Manila. The staff is always very friendly, rooms clean and it is very close to the airport. Rooftop bar is nice on the 8th floor. Hard to get a taxi sometimes but the hotel does have airport transportation service.

I usually try to stay at the Nicols hotel when in Manila. Staff is always courteous and friendly. Rooms are fairly sparse but have all the essentials. Rooftop bar on the 8th floor provides a nice overview of the nearby airport at night. Also close the Mall of Asia. Sometimes it is difficult getting a taxi but the hotel does have a reasonable car service. Recommended .

Not in the best location along Quarino Ave. but I always stay there because the service is great. Fairly good restaurant at the first floor and from 4-12pm you can go to the rooftop bar on the eighth floor which affords a grat view of the surrounding area.
