In the heart of the central business district, on the corner of Ayala and Makati Avenues, The Peninsula Manila stands at the epicenter of high finance, lifestyle and entertainment.  Built in 1976, the hotel consists of two wings located at the corners of their namesake thoroughfares, Ayala and Makati Avenues.

The hotel recently completed the first phase of a hotel-wide renovation in December 2006. The guest rooms and suites in the Makati Tower are the first to benefit from the new décor, with The Ayala Tower rooms coming on line in 2008.
