Unfolding of Hotel Celeste.

Makati City, Philippines – 14th September 2008 – The unveiling of the newest Filipino owned and managed boutique hotel, in the Philippines, Hotel Celeste, happened in the city of Makati, Sunday, 14th September 2008.

The name “Celeste” is simply the French translation for the adjective “celestial”, “divine” or “heavenly”.  And with Hotel Celeste’s Worth-noticing neo-classical interiors and luxuriously unique amenities, it is Hotel Celeste’s ardent wish to give exactly that: to give its guests a stay experience that is divinely pleasurable, and wondrously one-of-a-kind.

Originally envisioned to be a boutique hotel incorporating a gallery to display the work of many talented local artists, it was decided that in lieu of a gallery, the hotel itself would be a showcase of Filipino artistry.

Hotel Celeste is a 30 room boutique hotel which has identified an attitudinal target audience whose needs are widely unmet in the hospitality industry; the Imaginative Guests.  As Gee Mayuga, general manager of Hotel Celeste puts it: “Imaginative Guest is anyone, any gender and any age.  They are driven by the desire to create and re-create, think and re-think on a daily basis in his/her private or professional life.”

Hotel Celeste is located in 02 San Lorenzo Drive corner A. Arnaiz St. San Lorenzo Village, Makati City.  It will start serving the public in October, 2008.
