Green Valley (Baguio) Hotel and Resort, Inc. was originally established and organized in December 1975 as The Green Valley Country Club, a club exclusively for its members and their dependents and guests. After two years of construction, it became fully operational in December 1977. It remained as a country club until 1990 when an earthquake destroyed practically all hotels in Baguio City. In an effort to revive tourism in Baguio City, the Department of Tourism requested Green Valley Country Club to temporarily open its facilities to the public and accordingly accredited it as a hotel.

Located in Sto. Tomas mountains, the second highest peak of the Cordilleras, Green Valley offers you the true experience of being in the summer capital of the Philippines and the true Cordillera ambience in a hotel that provides country club facilities.

Green Valley stands proud amidst a view of serene mountains, breathtaking vista and unpolluted environment.  It is cooler by several degrees than the city proper.

Today Green Valley has earned its laurels and is now a landmark in the City of Pines.
