SM Mall of Asia is the Philippines' largest shopping mall, with 600 shops and 150 dining establishments under its roof. It boasts of the first ever IMAX theater in the country with one of the world's biggest IMAX screens in 3D. MoA, as it is abbreviated, also features the country's first Olympic-sized skating rink and an open-air Music Hall where concerts and other events are held. The first ever SM Science Discovery Center can also be found here. It features a digital planetarium and a wide range of technology and science-themed exhibits. MoA is certainly a must-visit destination for the entire family because of the wide range of attractions and events it boasts of.

Rizal Park << RIZAL PARK

This city park, also called Luneta, is one of the biggest parks in the country. It features a huge globe in the center of a roller skaing rink; a pool with water fountains; the Rizal Monument bearing the remains of the National Hero Jose Rizal; the Quirino Grandstand (venue for demonstrations and religious meetings); a Japanese and Chinese Garden (with fish pond), an orchidarium and a butterfly park. It stages a Concert at the Park every Sunday at 5:00pm.

There are playgrounds for children; a pool showing a model of the Philippines in miniature and music broadcast through loudspeakers and boats at the back of the Quirino Grandstand for a harbor cruise. On New Year?s Day, thousands upon thousands throng the Luneta.

Intramuros was the Spanish capital during times of colonialism. Places of historical interests are Casa Manila, San Agustin Church, Fort Santiago with the Rizal shrine and the Manila Cathedral.
