The dive sites listed here are grouped into four major areas
according to location, accessibility, and availability of facilities:
Batangas, Mindoro, Palawan,
Cebu, Bohol, Negros
Oriental.
Other dive areas remain largely unexplored. These areas offer
few or no facilities and for more adventurous divers.
There are two ways to experience the best of Philippine diving.
The first is to avail of a tour on one of the dive boats that cruise
various dive sites. These boats offer comfortable accommodations, good
food, unliimited air, and a diving guide. Cruises generally last from
one to two weeks.
Resort-based diving is another way to enjoy the bounties of
the Philippine undersea world. These resorts, located near popular divesites,
offer complete diving facilities, air-conditioned accommodations, full
restaurant service in the evenings, and an option to take a day off
from diving to see the countryside.
