Day 1: Arrival - Phnom Penh
On arrival at Po Chen Tong Airport , you are met and transferred to hotel. Phnom Penh was once considered the loveliest city of Indochina. Despite its recent turbulent history, it still maintains considerable charm. A city tour acquaints us with some major sights of Phnom Penh. We visit the National Museum for an appreciation of the splendour of Khmer history before continuing to the Royal Palace and the sacred monument of Silver Pagoda, which is well known for its 5000 silver tiled floor. Heading out of this area, we follow our trip to Wat Phnom, topped with a huge stupa and the vibrant Central Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 2: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap
After breakfast, we transfer out of the town to visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious 'Killing Fields' of Choeung Ek, which both provides a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge. An early afternoon flight to Siem Reap. On arrival, you are met and transferred to hotel. The town of Siem Reap is our base for visiting the world famous temples of the ancient city Angkor, which was the capital of the powerful Khmer Empire from 802 AD to 1350 AD. After checking into hotel, we drive to the archeological area to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B)
Day 3: Siem Reap - Angkor Temple
The temple of Ta Prohm, with enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers embracing themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature is an incredible sight. We explore this masterpiece as well as its surrounding temples of Banteay Kdei, Sra Srong, TA Keo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevado. The largest and most complete structure of Angkor Wat is also visited, this afternoon before we walk up to Phnom Bakheng Hill for a view of the spectacular sunset over these sandstone monuments. Overnight in Siem Reap.(B)
Day 4: Siem Reap - Angkor Temple
Heading out of the town, we explore some outlying sights including the Preah Dark village , the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei, the River of 1000 Lingas, locally named Kbal Spean and the Banteay Samre Temple, with its impressive relieves depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. We also have time, today seeing the grand circuit with Preah Khan, the Kravan, Neak Pean, Krol Ko, TA Som, East Mebon, Pre Rup Temple and strolling around the town for your own exploration. Overnight in Siem Reap.(B)
Day 5: Siem Reap - Departure
After breakfast, we embark on a short cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia's biggest natural lake, stopping along the way for an enjoyable visit to a floating village and fisherman at work . The tour ends after transfer to airport for departure. (B)

Note:

  • During the dry season (May-July) the low level of the Tonel Sap River does not permit a cruise to the fishing village on the Tonle Sap. The Excursion will be replaced by a visit to The Chantiers Ecoles.
  • The above itineraries include French or English speaking guide. Upon your request, German, Italian, Japanese or Spanish speaking guide will be arranged.
  • Basically, our tour cost is covering daily breakfast. In case you want to have trip including all meals, you just need to add "Full board Supplement" to the tour cost.
