Resort Description and Location |
The
Al Sawadi Beach Resort is a low rise resort, nestled in between
lush gardens, symbolizing the traditional Oman culture in its
architectural design. Set within beautifully landscaped gardens on one of the most tranquil private beaches of the Sultanate of Oman, the Al Sawadi Beach Resort overlooks the serene string of Sawadi Isles. It is the ultimate choice for fun and leisurely relaxation. As you step in the Lobby of the Resort, you will enjoy the light and refreshing earth colour scheme which encourages you to stay for a while and relax. The Lobby Shop offers some wonderful traditional Omani treasures and souvenirs. The unique garden features privacy! Walk through our lush gardens with sweeping coconut groves, colourful flowers and garden paths that will lead you straight to your private patio of your room. 100 spacious chalet-style guest rooms (some
interconnecting) in elegant surroundings with private patio.
Large bathrooms with hair-dryer. Rooms have individual remote
controlled A/C, deposit boxes, international direct dial telephone,
minibar, remote controlled TV with satellite channels and radio.
• All
rooms have one King size bed 180x200cm.
Camp out in your own tent (or rented from
the hotel) in the secure environment and enjoy the regular
hotel amenities.
Half board as well as the use of all non-motorized resort
facilities adds a touch of luxury to your camping experience.
Early check-in and late check-out on the following days

 Our cuisine is the melting pot of Middle Eastern,
classical and new Continental cuisine, accentuated by the colourful
food of Asia. Our internationally experienced Chef prepares the
most appetizing display from every corner of the world - you just
have to stay with us long enough to sample them all!Coral Reef Cafe: Open from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, where you dine in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Lavish buffet theme nights and fisherman's catch every Thursday night. Omani Hut: Taste authentic Omani cuisines, including the live cooking of the Omani Shuaa in traditional Omani majlis by the beach. Open from Sundays to Fridays from 7:30 p.m. onwards with the live performance of a belly dancer. Tandoori Bahar: A different taste of Indian cuisines, from North to South, from naan bread to assorted tikkas, everything you want, especially prepared by our Indian Chef. Opens from 7:00 p.m., from Fridays to Tuesdays. Daymaniyat Divers Club: Located beside the Dive Centre’s office, we serve hot and crispy snacks mouth watering fresh juices to wind up after the days’ dive. Opens daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Neptune Bar: Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, Neptune's Pool Bar offers light and healthy snacks and sandwiches, kiddies menu, refreshing drinks and ice-cream sundaes. Enjoy a Friday lunch in the open air with gentle live entertainment. Periwinkle's Pub: Open from 6 p.m. till midnight, Periwinkle's features traditional pub grub, live entertainment and beers from the draft as well as an array of exciting tropical and fancy cocktails. Beach Bar: Mouth-watering specialties served at our charming outdoor location and cooked on authentic charcoal-burning ovens, this is the ideal venue for intimate dinner get-togethers for smaller groups, facing the beach and listening to the waves. Prior booking necessary.  The Hut Supper Club: Your favourite drinks and cocktails uniquely prepared. Dance and wind up the night away with songs rendered by D’Friends Band. Opens from 9:00 p.m. onwards Mondays thru Saturdays – with happy hours from 9 to 11 p.m. Room Barbecue: Fancy preparing a barbecue on your own in the privacy of your patio? Excursions Al Sawadi Beach Resort offers all excursions in a comfortable Toyota Landcruiser and provides complimentary water and juices. The Omani driver is well trained and experienced and speaks fluent English.
