TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
- Rates are
calculated on a 24 hour period and include insurance (subject
to excess), unlimited mileage and GST. N.B. one to three
day hires are limited to 250kms per day excess .27c
- Insurance
excess of NZ$2500+GST applies, in the event of accident or damage
to the vehicle. A credit card imprint is taken for the bond on
initiation, and destroyed at termination of the hire, providing
the vehicle is returned in the same condition that it left the
depot. An insurance excess waiver is available at an additional
NZ$15.00 + GST per day payable direct on initiation, This reduces
excess to $300+GST.
- National
Car Rental provide branches or agents in Downtown Auckland, Auckland
Airport, Rotorua, Tauranga, Palmerston North, Hamilton, Wellington,
Picton, Christchurch, Greymouth, Queenstown, Dunedin and Invercargill.
One way hires are available, 5 day minimum hire is required
or $75.00 relocation fee is payable direct on initiation.
- Inter-Island
hires save the client $160NZD for car transportation costs. Cars
are returned to the ferry depots in Picton or Wellington, and
a fresh vehicle is provided when clients disembark the ferry on
the other side. Client's luggage is checked in at ferry as it
would at an airport.
- National
will meet all clients upon arrival or deliver to inner city hotels/motels.
Flights or arrivals after 7pm will incur a $30.00NZD after hour
fee. A 24-hour toll free telephone service is available for emergencies.

- National
Car Rental operates a modern, late model fleet, with cars being
of an average age of 9 months. The fleet is constantly being upgraded
to ensure a modern operation.
- Baby seats
and (Ski Racks/Chains) are available.
- All reservations
subject to confirmation. National reserves the right to substitute
a similar vehicle.
- A 15% non
refundable deposit is required upon confirmation
