Full Day Golfing
Tour
This tour provides you with the opportunity to play two
rounds of golf anywhere in Canterbury, the choice is yours. Should you
wish the afternoon round can be played on a different course from the
morning. You will be collected from your accommodation and outfitted
with a complete range of high quality golfing equipment to ensure your
enjoyment. The tour price is completely inclusive of equipment hire,
transfers, green fees and lunch.
(The golf equipment provided with both
golf tours includes a full set of high quality golf clubs, bag,
golf trolley, balls, tees and golf shoes. Lunch is included
with the full day golfing tour only.)

RUSSLEY GOLF
COURSE
PAR 73 (Mens) 5752 metres (White Tees)
This golf
course is an 18 hole golf course located 15 minutes from the central
city, near to Christchurch airport. A tight course with large mature
trees lining most fairways, and bunkers on most greens. The only course
with permanent water hazards in Christchurch. Some holes provide
spectacular views of the Southern Alps. Drainage and irrigation are good
and the course stays reasonably firm and green throughout the whole
year. The course has a pro shop with a large range of reasonably priced
golfing equipment and souvenirs. The new club houses a bar and
restaurant that is open seven days.
WAITIKIRI GOLF

This
golf course is an 18 hole golf course located 15 minutes northeast from
the central city. The course was established late last century and the
large two story wooden club house which looks over the course dates from
this period. The course undulates over slightly rolling ground with many
of the trees and greens on different levels from the fairways. The
course has a fine selection of mature trees and bunkers which come into
play on most holes. The course has good irrigation and stays green
throughout the year. There is a pro shop open seven days, however the
bar and restaurant facilities are only open on club
days.
CORINGA COUNTRY CLUB

This golf course is an 18 hole golf course located 20
minutes from the central city in an area known as McLeans Island. The
course boasts wide tree lined fairways with bunkers coming into play on
most holes. The greens are well maintained and play very true. Many of
the holes provide breathtaking views of the Southern Alps and some
holes have open farm land adjoining with sheep and cattle grazing. The
course has good drainage and irrigation and remains firm and green
throughout the year. There is a pro shop open seven days, the bar and
restaurant normally open on club days.
