7 Days Exploration of Ancient City China |
Day 1 Singapore -> Beijing (Lunch, Dinner provided) |
Assemble at international airport for your flight to Beijing, capital of the China, Our guide will meet you and transfer to your hotel.
The tour starts at Tian'an men Square with its plentitude of monuments testifying to the communist, and more specifically, Mao's influence on China's modern history. From there you will proceed to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history in the world. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. After having launch, we'll visit the Temple of Heaven -- the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. The visit to Temple of Heaven takes about 1 hour. You will take Quanjude roast duck restaurant for dinner. Transfer back to your hotel. |

Day 2 Beijing (Bfast, Lunch, Dinner provided) |
Pick-up from your hotel and then drive to Ming Tombs-Changling, the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. The visit to Ming Tombs finishes at about 10:45. Before having lunch (11:30 am), you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
Next we will have traditional Chinese lunch at Jindian restaurant. After our lunch, we will drive to the Badaling Great Wall. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional.
On the way to your hotels, we also arrange a short exterior visit to "the Birds Nest,water cube"---the main Olympic Stadium now being built for the 2008 Olympic Games. After that, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts. After the dinner, we will transfer back to your hotel. |

Day 3 Beijing/Xi'an (Bfast, Lunch, Dinner provided) |
Pick up at your hotel and check out, take your luggages .then driving to Confucius temple, followed by the largest Lama Temple of Beijing --- Yonghe Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. The Lama Temple tour finishes at about 11:00. Before having lunch (12:00), you will have 45 minutes to visit the Chinese traditional handicraft silk carpet factory.
You will be arranged to have lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house. Then you will be arranged to visit the old Beijing lanes by taking rickshaws. Hutong tour lasts for 2 hours. You will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, primary school, many famous old buildings, like the bell tower, where you can explore the real life of ordinary people in Beijing. After our dinner, we will be transferred to the railway station to Xi'an. |

Day 4 Xi'an (Bfast, Lunch, Dinner provided) |
In the morning, the tour guide will pick you up at the railway station and transfer to the hotel ,then we will visit City Wall, Which is a major landmark, and the best preserved, as well as the oldest and largest of the city defense systems in China. After that, visit Bell Tower and Big Wild Goose Pagoda - One of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China.

Day 5 Xi'an (Bfast, Lunch, Dinner provided) |
After the breakfast in the hotel, you will take the bus to visit Terra-cotta warriors,Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum is the Eighth Wonder of the World. More than 6,000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC. Take sightseeing in this attraction for about 2 to 2.5 hours,then have lunch, after that, we will head to Hot Spring,transfer to hotel.

Day 6 Xi'an (Bfast, Lunch provided) |
Have the breakfast in the hotel, visit Forest of Stone Tablets Museum, The Forest of Stone Tablets is not only a treasure house of ancient Chinese calligraphy, but also a rich collection of historical documents and stone carvings of various styles,you will have half free day and transfer to the railway station.

Day 7 Beijing - Singapore (Lunch provided) |
Pick up from the railway station, then driving to the Summer Palace. It is the best-preserved imperial garden in the world that boasts centralized architectural masterpieces. After Chinese traditional lunch, have a short visit to a pearl free market. Then driving to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The Panda Zoo visit takes about 40 minutes. Lastly we will be transferred to capital and followed by moving towards the capital airport. |
