Suites are handsome spaces of fine proportion, offering vistas of the deep blue of the Indian Ocean. All suites feature a private terrace facing either the ocean or cove, or a door opening onto a tropical garden. Spacious bathrooms are beautifully appointed, with great cascading showers. Junior Suite. With Dutch and French colonial influences, eclectic European comfort and style characterise One&Only Le Saint Géran's 148 Junior Suites. From the terrace, the view extends over the contrasting white sands and deep blue of the sea and the lagoon, while the interior, dominated by a soft King-size bed or two Queen-size beds, is both intimate and romantic. The dressing room provides ample space to store belongings, while the bathroom includes a dual vanity unit, private toilet, a roomy shower, large bath and special lighting.


Ocean Suite. Each spacious Ocean Suite has a separate roomy lounge, private dining room and two secluded terraces lead off the sumptuous master bedroom with King-size bed. Inside, plush upholstered sofas offer comfortable seating, while the draped curtains and sliding shutters frame the grand bay windows. The large bathroom includes a dual vanity unit, private toilet, a roomy shower, large bath and special lighting.

The jewel in One&Only Le Saint Géran's gastronomic crown is the ‘haute-couture’ gourmet restaurant Spoon des Îles, creation of world-renowned Michelin-Star chef Alain Ducasse. Spoon des Îles represents the first venture out of Paris of Monsieur Ducasse's Spoon Food & Wine restaurant and explores the world of food with a tempting array of multi-ethnic cuisines matched by the finest selected wines, chosen by Monsieur Ducasse's trusted sommelier, Gérard Margeon.

La Terrasse

Surrounding the pool and overlooking the Indian Ocean, La Terrasse offers an eclectic variety of local and international specialities. Breakfast offers a sumptuous buffet featuring eggs cooked to order, fresh baked breads, pastries, cheeses, tropical fruit, freshly ground coffees and vanilla-flavoured Mauritian tea. Lunch follows with a choice of fresh local fish and seafood complemented with Asian-inspired specialties.

Nightly entertainment accompanies dinner, providing an exquisite voyage of cultural discovery. Table d’hôte menus feature mouth-watering crayfish and prawns straight from the ocean, spicy temptations of home-grown Creole cuisine, and the delicate subtleties of France, India, China and Asia.

Paul et Virginie. Overlooking the boathouse and green sugarcane-clad mountains, guests enjoy cocktails and a selection of fresh fish, seafood, authentic Mauritian dishes and delicate pizzas. The setting is natural and magnificent, the cuisine pure and simple. Paul et Virginie is a perfect place to spend some precious hours nurturing the soul. Water sports. The calm waters of the cove are ideal for kayaks, pedal boats, banana-boat and tube rides, as well as complimentary water-skiing; whereas the coral-sea lagoon on the ocean side is better suited for snorkelling, windsurfing, Hobiecats, monohull Lasers, and small-game fishing.

Water skiers and board riders can enjoy a water ski slalom course and JBWA school featuring ski/wakeboard training. Experienced skiers can test their skills on the slalom course, with the opportunity to receive the JBWA Silver Award, while novices receive one-on-one private instruction and the chance to progress onto
the JBWA Bronze Award. Youngsters from age eight to twelve years old can also join in on the fun with introductory courses using special teaching methods to give them a real sense of achievement while making new friends in group sessions.

Land sports

Every day, the Sports Team organises and co-ordinates a host of team-sport matches including volleyball, mini-football, bocciball, badminton, tennis, croquet, table tennis and beach soccer. Cross-island bicycle rides and horse riding offer enriching personal exploration of the pure beauty discovered on Mauritius.

Keep-fit exercises such as yoga and aquarobics are regularly organised. The Sports Team is happy to arrange jogging partners, and jogging maps are also available at the Fitness Centre.

Fitness centre. Located at the entrance of the Givenchy Spa, the Fitness Centre’s team of qualified personal trainers fully caters to all fitness levels and goals. Fitness programmes combine exercise with nutritional advice, stress management and relaxation techniques.

State-of-the-art equipment, including eight cardio-vascular machines and resistance machines, allow for a thorough workout of all the main muscle groups in the body.

Givenchy Spa. With a requisite that the locale be ‘magical,’ there are only a handful of Givenchy Spas in the world, and one of them makes its home at One&Only Le Saint Géran.

The Givenchy Spa is a haven of well-being, a temple dedicated to beauty and serenity, where mind and body are relaxed and soothed by dedicated and professional staff. The tropical garden and superb lap pool are designed to blend in harmony with the resort’s architecture. Using Swisscare products by Group LVMH Laboratories developed specifically for Givenchy, the experience is unique. From a simple sauna to full hydrotherapy, reflexology or a massage, Givenchy Spa invites guests to unwind and rediscover physical and mental harmony.

KidsOnly. KidsOnly, for children ages four to eleven,is a complimentary service offering a range of supervised daily programmes and age-appropriate activities from 10am to 10pm each day.

The clubhouse has play areas, a swimming pool (heated in winter months), arts and crafts facilities, computer stations, and its own restaurant. Children also have the opportunity toenjoy golf, tennis, windsurfing and swimmingclinics, as well as environmental excursions.

Dinner time provides a special event every evening for kids, with a selection of special menus, buffets and barbecues.

Teen activities

Activities for twelve- to seventeen-year-olds provide the opportunity to make newfriendsand take part in a variety of dynamic activities, sports, events, excursions, discos and theme evenings. The resort offers a designated meeting place to gather and plan their own programme with the help of the Sports and Entertainment team.
