Hotel Description and Location
This luxurious five-star hotel is set on 60 hectares of unspoilt land, amidst the rare and luxuriant vegetation of an exotic tropical garden. An isolated peninsula surrounded by lazy beaches and calm lagoon, brings to each who visits it a unique emotion, an experience where spicy aromas blend with the perfume of the warm ocean.

The 5 star de Luxe leisure hotel enjoys an idyllic location on the north east coast of the island. 15 minutes from the airport by helicopter and 35 Km from the capital Port Louis, Le Prince Maurice is situated on 60 acres of private land which is completely unspoilt, sheltered from the prevailing winds and ensure maximum privacy to its guests. Its tropical gardens are typical, consisting of rare and luxuriant vegetation and the calm turquoise lagoon blends perfectly with the fresh green hinterland and the secluded beaches of brilliant white sand. A natural fish reserve situated on the western part of the hotel adds to the uniqueness and natural beauty of the location.

The entire property blends naturally with the beauty and simplicity of the environment. The use of wood, stone and thatch gives to the hotel its unique charm, characterised by an ambiance of total tranquility and refined elegance. All suites are air-conditioned and equipped with hairdryer, minibar, TV with internal DVD channels, stereo compact disc and cassette player, telephone/answering machine, Wireless Internet Access (WIFI), pillow menu and in room safe. L’Archipel Restaurant is located in the main building, overlooks the pool and the beach. It is set up in three space area and two open air deck areas, thereby fostering intimacy. L’Achipel is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and it offers an “ ŕ la Carte “ service with light spicy flavoured gourmet food.
Le Barachois is located in a unique environment at a distance from our main building and surrounded by mangroves, our floating restaurant comprises five decks seating a maximum of 40 people. It overlooks a large natural fish reserve with an exceptional unspoiled view of a mountain range. The sunset from the barachois is breathtaking. The floating restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, and offers daily specials including grills, seafood and Mauritian delicacies.
The Laguna Bar is Situated in the main building overlooking the pool and the beach. The Laguna has two sundecks and serves unique cocktail specialities of the house. There is light music entertainment in the evening (piano, jazz, sithar, concert flute).
The Lounge Bar is in the main building overlooking the pool and adjacent to l’Archipel restaurant, our lounge bar is comfortable and intimate; ideal for an aperitif before dinner and after dinner temptation.

The Health and Fitness Centre is situated in the back gardens of the hotel, the centre reflects the hotel style and ambiance with a light architectural design and relaxed atmosphere. It offers a wide range of health and sports facilities, and is open from 8h00 to 22h00. Swimming pool with sun lounge chairs, Air conditioned squash court, Fully equipped gymnasium, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Aerobic and yoga, Plunge pool and steam bath.
