Hotel Description & Location
With its white sandy beach, turquoise lagoon and breathtaking view of the Black river Range Mountains and Le Morne Brabant mountain, La Mariposa Beach Resort offers a heavenly atmosphere as a get away holiday break.

Situated on the sunny sheltered went coast of Mauritius , La Preneuse has kept the authenticity of a fisherman village with traditional fishing boats plying the lagoon and has been zoned as a conservation area for its outstanding beauty. The lagoon offers exquisite diving and snorkeling sites commonly called "the aquarium" as well as fantastoc bathing.

The Resort consists of 14 air conditioned 1-bedroom apartments which comprise of 1 large bedroom, kitchenette. bathroom/toilet and a lovely terrace facing the ocean ideal for two persons. Each apartment are approximately 50 square meter and each one is fully equipped with a TV set, a well equipped kitchen giving customers complete freedom and comfort of dining in.

General Amenities:
* A reception office opened from 8 am to 4 pm on week days and from 8 am to 12 on Saturdays and public holidays and closed on Sundays.
* Continental Breakfast as from 8 am to 10.30 am (included for only the Sunsets and Standard Apartments)

Conditions:
There are 4 communicating standard apartments for families with young children, therefore can be sold at as 2 bedroom apartments for the parents' convenience and the price will be same as Dahlia.

However, this price is a special price for families with young children only and cannot be applied for 4 adults.
* Breakfast is not included in these apartments unless on request (supplement of 3 euros per person).
* Additional Beds can be installed on request and there is a charge of 10% on the sunset and standards
* Children under 6 years old are not charged
* Spare bed can be installed in the parent's rooms if requested.

Practical Information:
* The resort is only 45 minutes away from the airport
* Situated around 30 minutes away from the biggest towns
* The village of La Preneuse offers the service of a post office, commercial center with restaurants and bars, a supermarket, gas station, bank... all walking distance from the resort.

The 1 bedroom apartments: The 1 bedroom apartments are divided in two categories: Sunset and Standard.
- Sunset ones have the distinct luxury of being more spacious and on the waterfront facing a breathtaking view of the setting sun in the ocean.
- Standard ones are a little further away than the sunset ones but each has a terrace facing the ocean and the swimming pool.
