Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort is just 35km away from the airport and 40km from the country's capital, Port Louis. Nestled at the heart of ‘Domaine de Bel Ombre’, Heritage Le Telfair, a member of the "Small Luxury Hotels of the World", is exceptional in many ways. Named after a famous naturalist who lived in the area in the 19th century, the hotel invites you to stay in a setting inspired by the Mauritian colonial architecture and style of the time. Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort offers a variety of luxury Accommodation in a discrete village design of 20 villas of 6 or 8 rooms. 158 rooms and suites have beautiful sea views or river views through ceiling to floor French windows, private balconies or verandahs. Our guest rooms have a soothing plantation interior design with dark timber floors, period inspired furniture and a high level of attention to design detail. Bedroom and bathroom linen offer the added luxury of fine Egyptian cotton with oversized pillows and bath towels.

Superior room
Each bedroom has a spacious en-suite bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and separate toilet. Certain rooms have a sofa bed which can accommodate up to 2 children up to 12 years. Otherwise a single adult extra bed can be placed in the room. A baby cot can also be requested. Certain Superior Rooms have an inter-leading facility with a Junior Suite or an Ocean Suite. A number of rooms have sea views whilst others enjoy views of the river.

Junior Suite
This suite has a hexagonal lounge area and includes a large four poster bed. There is a large antique type bath in the centre of the bathroom. The suites on the ground floor also have an outdoor shower. 15 Junior Suites have a sea view. In the bathroom, the generously proportioned old style bathtub is free standing. The ground floor suites have an outdoor shower facility.

Senior Suite
Romantic bedroom with spacious en-suite bathroom, private dining room, lounge area and spacious terrace. Butler service is also available for in-suite dining. A specific menu has been designed to this effect. Senior Suites can accommodate one single extra bed and a baby cot. The antique furniture and canopy beds create a romantic atmosphere. The bathroom en suite and there is a spacious dressing room to ensure the guests’ comfort. The suites on the ground floor feature an outdoor shower. 6 of the Senior Suites have a sea view.

Ocean Suite
The two Ocean Suites enjoy a stunning location, right on the beach. They are more spacious than the Senior Suite and the bathroom features an old style free standing bathtub. This suite has a spacious veranda overlooking the Indian Ocean, a living area and a separate dining room as well as a separate guest toilet. An outdoor shower is available. Ocean Suites can accommodate one single extra bed and a baby cot.

Room Facilities:
Each room offers our guests the comfort of a lounge sitting area, individually controlled air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, electronic room safe, TV satellite channels, DVD/CD player, IDD phone, data port, vanity desk with hairdryer, mini-bar with tea and coffee making facilities. A spacious bathroom adjoins with a soak bath, walk-in shower, separate toilet, double vanity, electric shaver plug, spacious dressing facilities and bathrobes.

Annabella's
Our main restaurant, at the heart of the resort, serves breakfast and dinner from our interactive show kitchen, where guests and the kitchen brigade enjoy a convivial atmosphere. Enjoy the tastes of Heritage Telfair with a 5 course choice menu nightly.

Gin'ja
Set on the beach, looking westward, this modern lifestyle restaurant is open for lunch through to dinner. Serving fresh fish and seafood with an Asian inspired influence, this restaurant is ideal for a romantic dinner at sunset. Dining in this restaurant is extended to a 'feet in the sand' experience with table settings on the beach and along the water's edge with a mood enhanced by flaming torches. For dinner, a food credit is offered.

Le Palmier
Overlooking the pool and the ocean and open from the morning till sunset, enjoy Mediterranean style flavours from open wood fired oven or a range of refreshing beverages and exotic cocktails. Beach waiter service is also available.

Cavendish Bar & Lounge
Masterpiece of the hotel, this bar boasts a Cigar and Library lounge area reserved for the connoisseur gathering in comfortable armchairs and enjoying the sounds of the resident band, overlooking the river. Open from 11am till late.

Le Château de Bel Ombre
Built in the early 19th century and set amidst 100 year old gardens, this Manor house was the heart of the Bel Ombre Estate. A convivial lunch over a Mauritian meal, a classic afternoon tea or gastronomic French meal with island flavours, the restaurant is open from lunch through to dinner. For dinner, a food credit is offered. Le Château de Bel Ombre is ideal for weddings, special events and those occasions requiring an extraordinary setting.

Heritage Heritage Le Telfair is appropriate to welcome small and medium size groups & incentives with a high level of services. The air conditioning fully equipped Suite ‘Chantoiseau’ of 94 m² is available for meetings, conferences and private diners. The room is partly open on the outdoor and can easily accommodate up to 70 persons in theatre style.

For those caring for the physical conditions, a fully equipped fitness centre is available at the hotel. A personal trainer (with participation) provides advice on sport activities and diet. A swimming pool of 600 m² is also available.

The Seven Colours Spa with a floor area of 3,000m2 has 20 treatment rooms, 7 massage rooms of which 3 are double, and 2 massage kiosks on the beach, affusion showers, steam baths, a huge sauna with a cold water pool, a pool with eddying currents, divans in kiosks especially provided for relaxation, and one consulting room where tailor-made treatment programmes can be discussed.
