Apart
from the deep sea fishing, many people would like
to experience the line fishing with the professional
fishermen in Mauritius.
Our friend, Steve Louis, a local figure in Trou aux Biches fish landing
station knows about fishing since his young age. Today, he undertakes
fishing trips outside the reef with the traditional fishing boats in
the island.
You will be amazed to catch with him, in the Mauritian seas, full of
big fish such as the barracuda, yellow tuna, king fish and the delicious
dorado among others. If you are lucky, you may have a sailfish or even
a small blue marlin.
Should you not be so keen with these big beasts, he can take you to the
coral reefs for smaller catches such as the fine Vieille Rouge or the
Capitaine. Very good for the grill / frying indeed.
The maximum of 4 persons per day . We need to have pre-arranged booking
prior to your arrival in Mauritius.
