Soft corals, lobsters sharks and many other marine creatures become active at night. Under the spotlight of your powerful torch, the reef looks strikingly beautiful and majestic. From afar, the corals take on the shape of mountains; their outlines invite you to dream up a multitude of images. Surprisingly, when you switch off your torch, you may see plankton glowing like fireflies below the water.
