Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa brings world-class, award-winning dining to the inviting shores of Batu Feringgi. The Feringgi Grill, a continental restaurant in the Rasa Wing, makes the most of our beautiful beachside location and offers a range of delectable cuisine. Patrons of this Penang restaurant will also be privy to magnificent views of the gardens and grounds of the resort.
The Spice Market Café in the Garden Wing pays a delicious homage to Penang's heritage as a culinary meeting place and a centre of the historic trade in spices and exotic herbs.
Lounges & Bars
Whether on the beach or by the pool, a refreshing cocktail, cooling drink or light snack is never far away. In the evenings, join your fellow guests at the lively Feringgi Bar. Guests in the Rasa Wing have exclusive use of the Rasa Wing Lounge, which serves complimentary coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks throughout the day, alcoholic beverages excluding champagne from 6pm to 7pm. |
Feringgi Grill
The elegant Feringgi Grill offers award-winning continental cuisine with charming views of the grounds and gardens of the resort. The restaurant, inspired by the legendary beach of the same name, serves exquisitely prepared traditional favourites and signature dishes. During and after dinner, enjoy unique vintages from our wine cellar, or savour a cigar from our cigar menu.

Spice Market Café
StiThe Spice Market Café is an informal buffet-style restaurant that offers authentic cuisines from diverse cultures that reflect Penang's heritage as a cultural crossroads: Chinese, Indian, Nyonya-Baba, Japanese, Thai, Western and international. The café is right beside the unique free-form swimming pools, under a canopy of century-old rain trees that echo with the delightful sounds of chirping tropical birds.
Guests dining outside are cooled by sea breezes. Outdoor seats are also available at special timber decks overlooking the sandy expanse of Batu Feringgi Beach.
While dining indoors in the air-coniditioned dining room, you may enjoy the view of our kitchen theatres in which our chefs prepare the dishes that have been ordered.
The Spice Boutique
At the entrance to the café you'll find the Spice Boutique, where you can learn about and purchase some of the most exotic spices in Asia. The boutique features over 100 varieties of dried herbs and spices, with varieties of curry powders and other ingredients for you to take home. A selection of recipe books are also available for you to prepare you own special dishes using the exotic spices found here. |

Pinang Restaurant and Bar
When the sun begins to set, it's time to head to Pinang, a poolside bar that offers al fresco dining at its finest. Located beside the beach, the bar's picturesque timber decks extend to the edge of the swimming pool, overlooking a scenic stretch of Batu Feringgi Beach.
Sundown is marked by the strike of a gong, indicating the start of our popular beachside Happy Hour.

Tepi Laut Restaurant and Bar
'Tepi Laut' means seashore, aptly named for a bar and restaurant located just 30 feet away from gently rolling waves. The roof architecture recalls old palaces of Malay Sultans. The resort's Par 3 Executive Golf Course is also just a tee away. |
