There are fountains and park benches in the square for relaxation after a hard day's work browsing in the 17 theme shops, or should one wish to take a breather from participating in the various activities. The drawbridge reminiscent of ancient castles, clock tower with an original cuckoo bird clock, and the viewing tower complements the ambience. The following facilities are located in either Bukit Tinggi Golf & Country Club, or within the vicinity. These facilities can be enjoyed by all guests of Bukit Tinggi Resort. Tatami Spa The landmark of the Japanese Village is the Tatami Spa where wide ranges of relaxing body treatments, from scrubs and Aromatherapy massages to hot therapeutic baths await you. This one-of-a-kind spa is a rejuvenating retreat of the highest level. Golf The championship 18-hole course spans 6,312 square meters is designed by J. Michael Poellot and has played host to international tournaments. The Golf course's main feature is its undulating nature and the 17th hole, our Signature hole with breath-taking scenery. Well maintained, the club provides transportation for golfers to get around in and the picturesque Bermuda turf surrounded by hills is a pleasure to play on. Japanese Village The Japanese Village at Bukit Tinggi Resort is the first of its kind outside Japan that is situated in an authentic Zen-like environment. It is set 3,500 feet above sea level among the lush rainforest hilltops. The serenity of the surroundings provide a certain calmness to all who visit as the cool air and calm ambience envelop the senses. Ume Tatami Suite The detailing, from tatami mats to wood-frame paper screen doors, Ume Tatami Suite captures the essence of Japanese architecture and design to offer exclusive luxurious living in the solitude of a tropical rainforest. Japanese Teahouse Embrace the beauty of Japanese culture when you attend the meticulous Japanese tea ceremony at the Japanese teahouse conducted daily for visitors. Ryo Zan Tei Ryo Zan Tei is the only Japanese restaurant in Malaysia that is located in the midst of a tropical rainforest high up in the hills of the Main Range. With a menu that offers everything from a bowl of udon to an authentic bento, it is the perfect place to relax after a visit to the Japanese Village. Botanical Garden Do not forget the 1-km long Botanical Garden nearby with more than 500 species of trees and herbs. Bird watching platforms are dotted around the garden and trekking is available along the garden trail past towering trees and viewing decks to enjoy the sights and sounds of the virgin forest. Be amazed by towering trees, ferns, orchids and rarely seen flora. Don't miss the horticultural experiments to cultivate temperate fruits...pears, apples and 7 different types of strawberries. Horse Trails Bukit Tinggi Horse Trails houses a unique stable that conducts existing and adventurous trail rides. PAINTBALL TAG FACILITIES: It's the first Paintball TAG range in Malaysia!
