the Mae Rim Lagoon Hotel. The course is more than 20 years old. Green
Valley Golf Course: There is a 18-hole country club which offer a very
challenging lay out for the golfers. It located only 5-7 minutes drive
from the hotel. |

Kamphaeng Cotton & Silk Weaving Village This equally famous village is located 13 kilometres from town. The village is the major source of all Thai silk and cotton produced in Chiang Mai. The materials are woven by local folk on traditional wooden looms and are sold in a wide variety of plain lengths, plaids, brocades, stripes, prints and checks. |

and Butterfly Farms Two major nurseries in the Mae Sa Valley, the Mountain Orchid, Mae Raem Orchid and the Sai Nam Phung Orchid Nursery provide opportunities for visitors to admire these exotic year-round blooms. Khantok means a wooden tray for carrying dishes, around which diners sit in groups of five or six on the floor. Major Khantok dishes included glutinous rice, Burmese and northern Thai-style curries, spiced minced dishes, Chiang Mai sausage, highly seasoned sauces and dips, and crisp pork rind. Diners eat with their hands while dancers provide entertainment, performing popular northern dances such as the graceful fingernail dance, candle dance and sword dance. |
