| LOCATION The Ancient Luang Prabang Hotel is in the town centre on the main street, beside a bank, travel agency, shops and the post office and opposite the daily Hmong textile market. It is a couple of minutes walk to the Royal Palace Museum and the stairs at the base of Mount Phousi. The evening fruit and food market and the tempting craft market start just outside the Hotel. Close to the Mekong River, it takes around 10 min walk along the main street to reach the splendid Wat Xieng Thong at the end of the peninsula. The Hotel is 15 min drive from the Airport and the bus Stations.
