NAIROBI/LAKE NAKURU/ MAASAI MARA

Day 01 ARRIVAL- NAIROBI

  Meet on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport and transffered to International Hotel. This is a 5* Star hotel on the city center neighbouring Kenya Parliament, Uhuru Park and City Hall and with the beautiful Nairobi tree lined street surrounding it.

Lunch and dinner on own arrangements.
Overnight at Intercontinental Hotel. Bed & Breakfast basis.

Day 02 NAIROBI- LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Buffet breakfast at the Intercontinental Hotel
0900 hrs.         Morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. This drive will take you past the eastern wall of the Great Rift Vallet where your driver/guide will stop at a strategic viewpoint for photography.

1300 hrs.         Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge
1600 hrs.         Afternoon game viewing drive in the park.
The Lake Nakuru National Park is world famous for the pink flamingos which number thousand upon thousands. The rare black rhino and many other wild animals can also be found here. There is very high chance of seeing the noctural and very elusive leopard. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 03  LAKE NAKURU- MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Buffet breakfast at Lake Nakuru Lodge
0800 hrs. Morning drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s finest and best known game reserve.
1300 hrs. Lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game viewing drive. The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion’s roar, a cheetah making a kill, and the big elephant herds are all very fascinating events. This is the traditional land of the Masai people, nomadic herders who choose a traditional lifestyle and who are permitted to graze their cattle in the area. A proud and largely aloof tribe who have held on to their customs and traditions for hundreds of years. The park’s habitats include the forest along the banks of the Mara and Talek Rivers, acacia forest and open savannah.

Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 04 MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Another day spent in the Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the rolling plains, woodland and rivers that make up the Mara. There are very high chances of seeing the “big five”.
All meals at lodge.
Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 05 MAASAI MARA- NAIROBI- DEPART
Buffet breakfast at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Drive out of Maasai Mara headed for Nairobi.
Later we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight OR a stay at the coastal town of Mombasa at an extra cost.

• Flying Doctors Service for emergency evacuation cover. This cover takes care of emergency evacuation to the best Hospitals in Nairobi. However this does not cover the hospital bills but only the evacuation.
