The Safari Park Hotel and Casino stands in 64 of beautifully landscaped grounds incorporating a wide variety of indegenous tree and offering sanctuary to a starting array of birds and butterflies.

The history of the Safari Park Hotel - often described as the Eden of Africa - dates back to the independence of Kenya. The buildings, then occupied by the British Air forces, were converted into the Hotel, set in a splendid park conceived by internationally famous landscapers. In 1976, the Paradise Group acquired the Hotel, set about a major restoration, and added new buildings. After considerable work, the gala inaugural evening took place in November 1992.

The hotel is located 15 minutes by car form the city centre on one of the main arterial roads(Thika highway) leading towards Mount Kenya. It is 30 minutes by car form Nairobi National Park(one of the country's most accessible and varied parks) and 30 minutes by car from Jomo Kenyatta International Aiport.

In a move that distinguishes the Safari Park Hotel from our international competitors in their multi storey complexes, we chose to create clusters of guest accommodations, in effect we have built Guest Villages, making the most of our 64 acres of tropical African gardens.

We present our guests with a choice of 204 rooms of which 35 are more luxurious suites. Each and every room has a personal balcony overlooking the gardens of which we are so proud. Guests luxuriate in hand carved wooden four poster beds, surrounded by modern facilities such as refrigerated mini-bars, satellite television service, internet connection, electronic safes and more , that you would expect of such a high class establishment.
