The Mnarani Club offers a high standard of comfort, service and cuisine. An exclusive hideaway and ideal for honeymooners.

The Mnarani Club is in an elevated position over-looking the south side of Kilifi creek in 40 acres of grounds. About 32 miles from Mombasa airport and 25 miles from Malindi, the Club has its own beach on the creek estuary. The rooms at the Club are simple, but well furnished. Children under 16 are not accepted.

32 miles north of Mombasa, the Mnarani Club is perched on a cliff top on the south side of Kilifi creek in 40 acres of private grounds overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Guest Room Facilities
A total of 84 rooms set in two areas of the hotel. Garden rooms: are in simple bungalows, attractively furnished with airconditioning, tea and coffee facilities, shower, telephone and balcony. Creek rooms: these are set in one or two storey buildings and are of a higher standard, but with the same facilities. They have a side oceanview and some directly overlook the creek. All Suites are comfortably furnished and all have air-conditioning, room safe, direct-dial telephone and mosquito net. They are attractively decorated with natural timber finish. Hotel Facilities

A snack bar is found beside the Club's white sandy beach and on the cliff top is a spacious dining room and lounge bar under a sweeping thatched roof. The main thatched pavilion, housing the bar and attractive open-air restaurant, offers views across the creek to the Indian Ocean. There is also a TV room, shop, beach bar and swimming pool. The beach, just below the Club, is on the salt water creek and is adjacent to the marina for private boats.

Recreation Facilities

The public areas are set around imaginative water gardens and tropical foliage with panoramic views along the coast. Towards the headland there is a terrace with excellent ocean views.

  • Windsurfing for beginners - all complimentary.
  • At extra cost, Scuba diving is available and a complimentary introductory session in the pool.

  • For birdwatchers, creek safaris with a picnic can be arranged to view some of the 200 plus bird species, at an little extra cost.

  • A swimming pool, squash court, table tennis, board games, TV/video lounge, and Barracuda water sports center are some of the recreational facilities within.

A spacious sun deck area surrounds the free-form swimming pool. The pool bar offers cool drinks, snacks, delicious Italian ice-cream as well as cappuccino's and espresso's.
