Nikko Kanaya Hotel
is one of Japan's most time-honored existing hotels and as a witness
to history, from Meiji and Showa times to today's Heisei era. This is

Special
Deluxe Rooms
This is the most spacious Special Deluxe Rooms offered by the
Nikko Kanaya Hotel. The interior is divided into living room and
bed room. Both rooms have windows on two sides. A bathroom is
attached.

A Guest Rooms
Class A rooms are the finest offered in Nikko Kanaya Hotel's deluxe
class. All are spacious or corner rooms. In the Annex, Class A
rooms feature large windows on two sidex, offering a superb view
of Mount Nantai across the Daiya River.

B Guest Rooms
With most of the guest rooms in the Nikko Kanaya Hotel falling
into this deluxe category, Class B rooms may be said to typify
the hotel.

C Guest Rooms
Class C rooms are the second most numerous room category in the
hotel. As such they typify the excellent standard accomodations
available at Nikko Kanaya Hotel.

D Guest Rooms
These rooms in the Main Building belong to the upper tier of the
economy level. More compact than Class C rooms, many customers
prefer this class, especially single travelers.

E Guest Rooms
These are economy-class rooms, all with attached bath and toilet;
however, most rooms do no offer a view of the garden. Interiors
are simple and compact.

F Guest Rooms
These rooms, with attached showers but without bathtubs, are located
in buildings built during the Meiji era (1866-1912).

G Guest Rooms
These are twin-bed rooms with attathed toilet and washbasin. For
a bath, guests are welcome to use the separate shared western-style
bath on the same floor or the family bath.

Room
The dining room invites you to enjoy the Nikko Kanaya Hotel's traditional
French cuisine and superb service in a room of classic decor. Simple,
convenient lunches are also offered during the day. Open hours: Breakfast
7:30 - 9:30, Lunch 11:30 - 15:00, Dinner 18:00 - 20:00.
Japanese
Restaurant Yashio
This Japanese-style restaurant features buckwheat noodle dishes and
Japanese-style picnic-box lunches in the daytime and shabu-shabu, wicker
basket steamed items, and Nikko's own enticing yuba (bean-curd) dishes
in the evenings. Open hours: Lunch 11:30 - 15:00, Dinner 18:00 - 20:00.
Maple
Leaf Lounge
During the day, this facility fulfils the role of a pleasant coffee
shop, inviting you for a relaxing break; evenings, it transforms itself
into a comfortable cocktail lounge. Of course, soft drinks, cakes, and
light meals and snacks are always available during the day and evening.

Dacite Bar
Enjoy drinks in front of the stone fireplace where tradition says Frank
Lloyd Wright drew designs for the old Imperial Hotel in Tokyo.

Access Information
By
Train: Two
train lines take visitors to Nikko: the Nikko Line of East Japan Railway
Company (JR) from Utsunomiya, and the Nikko Line of TOBU RAILWAY CO.,
LTD. from Asakusa in Tokyo. From Tokyo, TOBU RAILWAY is the main route
to Nikko. Travel time from Asakusa in Tokyo to Nikko is about 110 minutes
by TOBU super express, 2 hours by rapid train.
By Bus: Nikko
Kanaya Hotel is located at the top of the hill nearby Shinkyo bus stop,
where 5 minutes by bus for Oku-Hosoo, Chuzenji Onsen, or Yumoto Onsen
from JR or TOBU Nikko Station.
By
Car: Nikko Utsunomiya Toll Road is connected to Tohoku Express
Way at Utsunomiya Interchange. Driving time from Nikko Interchange of
Nikko-Utsunomiya Toll Road to Nikko Kanaya Hotel will be only 5 min.
Tire chains are required in winter.
