CONFERENCE
& BANQUETING
Emirates
Towers Conference Centre The Emirates Towers Hotel is perfectly designed
to handle any business or social event
from
company business meetings and seminars to major conferences and banquets.
Congress Rooms The hotel houses 17 boardroom-style congress rooms
situated over the first nine floors of the hotel and within easy access
of a dedicated Business Centre.
Comprising a large conference table and executive seating, the congress
rooms seat up to 18 guests and feature floor to ceiling windows.
The very latest conference technology is available - from simultaneous
translation to teleconferencing facilities with full back-up support
from a team of Audio-visual and IT specialists.
Congress Offices Within the same area, the hotel offers 14 offices,
which are ideal as a short or long term base for in-house guests.
Equipped
with ISDN lines and computer connections, the fully-furnished offices
can be hired by the hour or day with the additional option of in-house
secretarial staff provided by the Business Centre.
Godolphin Ballroom and Pre-function Room For larger functions and
formal gatherings, the elegant Godolphin Ballroom and spacious pre-function
room provide an impressive venue.
Guests can enter from the dedicated entrance on the south side of
the hotel, where cars will be valet parked. Alternatively, guests
can enter via the marble staircase and escalator leading down from
the main hotel lobby, or via escalators leading up from the underground
car park. With its high ceilings, marble flooring, chaise longue seating
and modern works of art, the pre-function room provides a vibrant
and spacious gathering point that works equally well as a venue in
its own right.
A specially commissioned painting of Dubai Millennium, the thoroughbred
winner of the $6 million Dubai World Cup 2000, will soon adorn the
walls of the pre-function room and will be a fitting tribute to Dubai's
horse racing heritage.
From
the pre-function rooms, guests move through to the Godolphin Ballroom,
which has a seating capacity for 600 guests. Here hand-tufted carpets,
Ashburl veneer panelling with Marquentry inlay, chrome fittings and
three distinctly modern chrome and crystal chandeliers, combine to
create a neo-classical setting. The Ballroom can be divided into three
separate meeting rooms for smaller functions, with each section incorporating
an independent sound and light system.
