The Resort is 25 square kilometres with indigenous fauna being reintroduced including the Arabian oryx, sand gazelle, mountain gazelle, Arabian fox and caracal 45 minutes' drive from Dubai International Airport, accessible from the main Dubai/Al Ain highway byfour-wheel drive vehicle. Private vehicles are not allowed in the resort, as well as outside visitors.
