The
hotel plays host to Ember, a cool, new bar and restaurant which
serves inventive and modern international cuisine with an Asian
twist. Overlooking the hotel lobby, Ember serves guests and city
dwellers alike as a coffee shop, dining room, bar and lounge.
The restaurant is checked out with reproduction Z chairs in cream
and dark wood and vintage Louis Poulsen lamps "rescued"
from the former Danish parliament building.
The visual focus of the 45-seater dining room is the bar, with
its stronger lighting giving an easy glow while lighting the flooring
at the same time. Another interesting feature is the mirror panels
of the restaurant, a series of random pieces that create a different
wall texture together with the various reflections they produce. |
