Each of the 54 Deluxe Rooms features a combined bedroom and living area with balcony. Additional facilities include two comfortable day beds, a private bar, a spacious bathroom with dressing area, twin vanities, a bathtub and shower.
 

Superior Villas

Offering a much larger interior space in both the living area and bathroom, these elegantly-designed villas incorporate an oversized day bed, dining table for two, 37" LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, Bose CD sound system & Lavazza coffee machine. The extremely spacious bathroom includes a rainfall shower, twin terrazzo vanities as well as his and her wardrobes.
18 Hole Championship Golf Course
The Datai Bay golf course enjoys a unique setting in the heart of the rainforest, between the magnificent Mat Cincang Mountain Range and the Andaman Sea. Renowned as one of the region's most exclusive 18-hole golf courses, the facility is perfect for golf enthusiasts to tee-off in luxury.

Private Beach/ Watersports
The Datai's private white sand beach is the perfect place to sit and soak up some sun while enjoying the crystal-clear azure waters of the Andaman Sea. The Watersports Pavillion provides a host of activities including snorkelling, sailing (on catamarans and hobie cats) windsurfing and paddle boarding. Boat charters for deep-sea fishing and scuba diving can also be arranged.

Swimming pool
The Datai boasts not one but two swimming pools. The larger of the two rectangular pools is elevated among the forest canopy, with stunning views through the tree tops to the sea below. It is surrounded by a spacious terrace with comfortable sun-loungers and attractive umbrellas. The other pool, similar in design, is located down near the beach for those who wish to enjoy refreshing sea breeze.

Tennis Court
Two flood-lit tennis courts, rackets and balls are available on a complimentary basis. A tennis pro will be available for lessons.

Nature Activities
Nature Walks around Langkawi’s stunning tropical rainforest are available. Knowledgeable guides will point out interesting aspects of the area’s rich flora and fauna.

The Pavilion
The Pavilion serves authentic Thai cuisine in a charming al fresco setting, under the canopy of the rainforest.
The Dining Room
The Dining Room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring western specialties and local Malaysian delights
Beach Club Restaurant
With unobstructed views of the ocean, The Beach Club provides a dream setting for dining by the sea.
The Lobby Lounge
Refreshing cocktails and snacks are on offer at the Lobby Lounge. This venue is reserved for guests above the age of 12 years, after 8 pm daily.
The Gulai House
Located 300 meters away from the hotel building in a rainforest, and accessed by crossing an old traditional 'Titi' bridge, the Gulai House is an open-air Malay house with Malay and Indian cuisine. Two styles of seating are available, either Nobat; where you can sit on the floor to eat traditionally; or dine on normal tables.

Different chef specials are offered daily, as well as set menus and an extensive ala-carte menu. A Malay cultural show featuring traditional musicians and dances are performed every Sunday from 2000 to 2200 hrs.

Location

The Datai is located 30 minutes away by car from the island's international airport, which is 20 km west of Pulau Langkawi's main town, Kuah. Domestic flights are scheduled daily between Kuala Lumpur and Penang, while international flights come in from Changi Airport in Singapore and London (twice a week).

The airlines that service the Langkawi airport include Malaysia Airlines System (MAS), Silk Air and Air Asia. Departure points for visitors who opt to travel by boat or ferry to Langkawi are from Kuala Perlis, Kuala Kedah or Georgetown on Penang Island. Visitors from Thailand depart from Satun
