With its pristine and verdant landscape, unique quaint fishing village, and long white sand beach blended congruously with some modern development, Lantus Island offers a pleasant respite.The morning tour begins by sailing on air-conditioned ferry or hovercraft to reach Silvermine Bay. You will then be taken through winding roads to Cheung Sha beach where the waters kissing white sand stretches all it way across the coast forming a lovely picture. Back on the roads, you will head for Tai O Village, the still-home settlement. Tour then climbs it way tortuously up to Po Lin Monastery and the Great Bronze Buddha Statue is just adjacent to the monastery and perched on the Ngong Ping Plateau. Tourists are given the chance of entering into the museum where Sarira, or Buddhist relics are revered. You will enjoy a Chinese-style vegetarian lunch in the monastery. The return trip on the ferry is relaxing. One will be seduced to sit on the deck and bask in the sunshine.
An afternoon tour also avails to suit to clients' schedules. It will first leave for the Lantau Link viewing platform to view the Tsing Ma Bridge. Across the bridge, we will arrive at Tung Chung Town on Lantau Island, where the tour continues. Itineraries and stops of visits are mainly the same as the morning tour except that you only graze the Cheung Sha Beach as the coach climbs the hilly roads. A break for vegetarian snacks is served in the monastery. Return trip will be via ferry and our coach will meet you at the pier.
