A tour of the historical seafarers strongholds on the northern coast
of the United Arab Emirates.
From Dubai, we travel through the smaller emirates of Ajman and Umm
Al Quwain. We explore ancient sites dating back millenia.
We arrive in Ras Al Khaimah and discover the quiant town and its museum.
We travel
along the starkly beautiful Hajar Mountains where we stop to photograph
an historic fort set amidst palm groves. After lunch, our return voyage
takes us to the hot springs and date groves of Khatt.
