Evening Desert Safari (Dune Dinner)

A trip to the desert offers you a real adventure into the magnificent landscape of the unique sands of Arabia. This safari tour takes you right into the heart of the desert where you experience the excitement of a roller-coaster tour down the astonishing high dunes. A stop for a breathtaking view of the endless desert will give you an opportunity to watch the sun-set over this tranquil scenery. As the sun descends into the horizon, we stop to allow you to take sunset photographs, while standing on top of the fading desert dunes. We now head to the campsite where a convoy of camels awaits your arrival for short camel rides. After returning, you can purchase some souvenirs before relaxing on a majlis (low cushions) in traditional Bedouin tents. Enjoy an Arabian BBQ (barbeque/barbecue) buffet dinner and dessert beside a blazing bonfire with traditional cups of coffee and dates, underneath the pitch-black night sky. You can also get more dressed for the occasion by dressing in traditional Bedouin male or female garments, and also have Henna (temporary tattoos) decorate your hands, legs and feet and smoke flavored sheesha (hubbly-bubbly/water pipe). Before we head back to Dubai, we will be entertained by the dancing of a belly dancer to traditional Arabic music, and you are welcome to join along. Afterwards we reach the camp where you can board on the 'ship of the desert ' and where you will enjoy the contrasts of a desert night. Here you will get a unique insight into the traditional life of the Bedouins. Dress yourself in the traditional Arabic dress, enjoy the freshly made Arabic sweets, try the 'hubbly-bubbly' and the henna painting and learn about the important role that falcons are playing here in the local life…..and if you had enough activities just laze around on the carpeted ground or wander around the camp and enjoy the silence of the desert. A delicious BBQ dinner with grilled specialties cooked on site is waiting for you then and you have the choice between a variety of appetizers, salads and sweets. Finally a belly dancer will entertain you and just come and try to shake your body to the rhythm of the Arabic drums.

Overnight Desert Safari

This safari contains the same events and thrills as the evening desert safari, but instead of heading back to Dubai city in the evening, we spend the night at the campsite. Under the starlit sky, you will slip inside comfy sleeping bags, inside spacious tents and savor the genuine exotic beauty of the Arabian nights. In the morning, we have breakfast at the camp before heading back to Dubai city at around 9am.

Morning Desert Safari

For those interested in a ride through the desert early in the morning, they will enjoy this safari. You will be picked-up at 9am and begin your desert adventure with dune bashing and sand skiing, before being taken to the Bedouin-style camp for a ride on a camel. The trip back will be at around 12pm. The safari will cost of Dhs. 250 (US$ 68) for adults and Dhs. 125 (US$ 34) for children.
