Malaysia's 'City of Entertainment', Genting Highlands is a mountain resort located an hour outside of Kuala Lumpur. Genting Highlands primarily attracts weekenders from Kuala Lumpur, but it's also a fun diversion for international tourists with a day to spare. It's also possible to get to the base of the mountain by bus or train, at which point the Skyway cable car can whisk passengers to the summit in about ten minutes.
