Very nice heritage hotel,with everything you would expect from a older , modern hotel.Room was very nice , bed comfortable, no complents, except some water escapes form shower door to floor. The breakfeast buffet was very good,close to most 5 star hotels.Location is central. Only issue was 1 hour wait for check-in,we arrived at 1:00pm.

Hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas. Opposite is the tax shopping centre with supermarket. Walking distance to Saigon square 1, Ben tanh market, parkson & vicom centre and dongu street for foods & restaurants. Hotel is clean and spacious, there are 2 swimming pools and my children enjoy them a lot.

Although we stayed on the old wing of the hotel, I am still satisfied with our stay because of the cleanliness of the room and the amenities plus a sumptuous breakfast that comes with it. The hotel is located at the heart of the city and is just walking distance from some of the heritage sites of HCMC.

Last time I stayed here was almost a year back in 2009. Certainly much better with the renovated lobby and rooms. A very classic hotel. Just take note that the rooms by the main roads are usually noisier as traffic starts rolling by around 5.30am even. Other than that the location is perfect with just a mere 10 mins walk to the famous Ben Thanh Market and to elsewhere in central HCMC.
