Sugar Palm Resort 3 stars

We've had a very pleasant time at Sugar Palm Resort. The room was very nice with everything you need available. Clean and good service. The staff was very kind. Also a good booking service available for excursions etc. Nearby the beach and nice restaurants. We'll certainly recommend this hotel.

Good value hotel. It has a small but nice pool. Location is good and yet quiet. Only require 3 minutes walk to the beach. Surrounded by restaurants, 7-11 and ATM machines.

Got a good deal on the hotel rate during Phuket's low season. The hotel location was superb and it is just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The room itself was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed. However, there were quite a numbers of ants in the room with cobwebs at the corners, so i think it could do with better housekeeping. Also to note that the window separating the bathroom and the room is made of translucent glass, hence may not be suitable for all. However, overall i am quite pleased with my stay.

other than the second floor pool view which is too near to the ground floor counter which i am dissatisfy over all is great experience. This is my second stay with the hotel cos is good thats why i keep coming back. I will definitely stay within for my future visit.

Check in to the hotel is no hassle, I was given welcome drink and wet towel during my check in. Service staff friendly and understand english well, I book for a pool access room, room is clean, pool is ok but have no ladder for you to get back to your balcony, that is one minus point. Free dvd rental is good. Gym is small but ok. Have 5 computers with internet at hotel free for guests. Hotel also help to arrange for motorbike rental at 250 THB a day. Just step out of the hotel, is 2 massage parlour, 2 shops and 2 restaurants, it is very convenience. Overall rating is good, value for money.

We stayed in Sugar Palm Resort for 4 nights in May. We stayed in a pool access room. The hotel staff was attentive & helpful throughout our stay.One of the staff even gave us a hand drawn map to the places he suggested that we visit during our trip. On our first day, he asked us how many days we were staying, on our last day he actually remembered & said to us "checking out tomorrow?". We were very impressed. The hotel was modern with nice little touches and every night we slept like babies on the comfy bed. Loved each day... I call it a Sugar High ;)

Very good location near Kata Beach. Friendly staff and a very well and nicely decorated room.Bathroom was well equipped.Thanks for the upgrade to a deluxe room. Reception staff very helpfull when hiring a motorbike or arranging transfers. Pool not so large , but the beach is nearby.

Hotel rooms are really pretty, clean and comfortable. Staff are able to speak understandable English, friendly and really helpful. Will stay there again on my next trip.
