Have been to Phuket umpteen times and stayed at various hotels..this one is so far the best...It was affordable and the pool was wonderful..not crowded...The location was best..very near to beach and most of all, smack in the middle of restaurants/pubs, provision shops , shopping etc etc..Would not hesitate to pick it again for future stay and recommend it to friends and relatives as well...loved it.

Perfect location - just 5 minutes from the beach. Definitely more than 2 stars:spacious room,all necessary facilities including safety box, conditioning, mini bar, etc. + good breakfast.

As the Malai House is being renovated, I was moved to Sugar Palm Hotel (neighbouring). So I do not know the condition of Malai House, that is why I cannot tick any info at the "Rate It & Tag It" part. But I have a great experience spending my night in Sugar Palm. I think it is a new hotel as well and the service was so excellent! The officers were nice though we were not their original guests but they treated us very nicely. I think I will choose this Sugar Palm Hotel again if I come back to Karon.
