I Residence Hotel Silom 3 stars

Hotel is in very good location, opposite of the Skytrain. Even Deluxe rooms very small, clean. Breakfast ok. NO Free Internet but Fee use of PC in Lobby.

The hotel is right next to the BTS station which is very convenient. Staff are friendly and were very helpful. Room is actually very large and had nice layout. Good value for short stay, (less than 3 days).

Perfect location, king size bed very comfy, yet no free WiFi even in public area is a deficiency.

well, my room promo when i booked was free upgrade to exe deluxe, free laundry, newspaper, but i have to double checked with the hotel as they are not very sure, the receptionist.i was not offered room with bath tub, which i found out from housekeeping that both rooms next to me have bath tub. probably the staffs not like to service third party booking guest??

This is a nice, medium sized hotel with good location(right beside the Skytrain. I got an upgrade for the room so it was well worth the price.

rooms are smaller than expected, especially the entrance area, swimming pool extremely cold, sunlounger only available in the morning.

Great location, very near Skytrain and many affordable restaurants, nice room with friendly hotel staff. Very good value for money.

Overall good especially location as it is only 2 minutes walk from the BTS station. Room and bathroom is clean but shower area a bit small. Water temperature fluctuates from hot to cold during shower and shower nozzle is not adjustable to lower height, making the water constantly directed towards the wall rather than at you.

The room is clean and big enough to accomodate 2 super-single sized beds and a 2-seater sofa. Only gripe is the water heater which either gets too hot or too cold in the midst of showers. Other than that, everything about the hotel is great! Highly recommended and value for money! One thing to note is that you can't really find any food at night except for the MacDonalds and 7-Eleven beside the hotel. Closest eateries are found in Patpong/Siam Sq.

I-Residence Silon is conveniently located near to BTS Station, Chong Nonsi. From here, you can easily travel to other main shopping places. There's a MacDonalds, Boots, 7-Evelen just outside and also some food stalls along the main road. No problem for finding late night snacks. The room is clean and spacious. Only negative is that the breakfast is the same over the 3 days. This is one thing is can improve on. Will be coming back for this hotel for my next trip to Bangkok.

Our recent stay at I Residence was a pleasant experience as their service staff is attentive and it's location to Chong Nonsi BTS is a major plus. My only gripe is the shower as hot water was not consistent and the walls between rooms can be better. I would recommend to my friends who are looking for a value for money accommodation and 1 minute walk away from BTS station

The hotel was clean and the rooms were big. Good value for money. The staffs there were very friendly and helpful. Hotel located near by BTS, thus help to avoid traffic jam problems.

5 stars all round! Fantastic value for money, brilliant location, whacky (!) but very friendly and efficient staff and a roof top infinity pool too! Can't get better than that for the price.

Very comfortable bed in a well appointed room. Particularly enjoyed the LCD flat screen TV with excellent reception of a good choice of satellite channels. Although building work was being carried out to improve the hotel every effort was made to minimise its effect and we experienced no inconvenience. The location is good - right next to Chong Nonsi skytrain station, lots of restaurants and shops nearby and a short walk to the Silom area.

This is one of the best value for money hotel that I have ever stayed in BKK. The location is good, the room is good.... Really has nothing much to complain about except for the shower temperature which is not so consistent. However, for those who are ok with quick showers, this will not pose as a problem.

Enjoyed our 3-night stay...great food in the vicinity, walking distance to Patpong/Silom for shopping, BTS right at doorstep, nice buffet breakfast with great view etc. Only grievance is the nearby construction noise. Thank you I-Residence for our comfortable stay.

I chose this boutique hotel during my 5 day stay, and I had to say I made a good choice. On arrival, the hotel has a cool and chic atmosphere. The room I stay was surprisingly roomy because of practical design and still feel cozy. Breakfast is served on their rooftop restaurant, and although there is not much variety, it is still good enough for most travellers. I like the rooftop balcony pool but did not get to swim. Generally the staff are friendly and reliable and I am grateful to them for finding and returning me my PDA which I had left inside the internet room. Location is another plus point as it is right in front of Chong Nonsi BTS station. Going to various locations like MBK, Siam Paragon, Wat Arun is convenient too. I had a good experience with the hotel and at S$40-50 a night it is really value for money!

Small but nice, comfort anf clean. Good location with few mins walking distant to BTS. Breakfast is good but still have some room to improve. Higher recommended for people who look up for between budget and 3 stars accommodation.

This was my first time to Bangkok, and I must say that I did not regret a single moment staying at I Residence. In fact, I would be going back to I Residence for my next trip there in February. Located in front of the Chong Nonsi BTS makes it really easy for me to travel to all major shopping centres like MBK and Siam Paragon which is only a few stops away. Patpong night market was walking distance away. Service was prompt and fantastic. I had checked into a non smoking room, and called the receptionist as I actually wanted a smoking room. She acknowledged it and within a matter of ten minutes, we were brought to the new room at the other wing and even the extra bed was nicely set up for us with no fuss at all. The view from the pool at the rooftop was breathtaking, the furnitures were all well kept and even the floor was clean. The only minor setback was the temperature of the shower as it kept turning hot and cold every few minutes. Other than that, everything was superbly excellent. Everything was well taken care of from our arrival to our departure and made it such a pleasant stay for me and my brother there. I would like to give two thumbs up for the service given by the staff at I Residence. Now that I am back, I kept on recommending all my friends to stay there. It definitely is one place to stay when you are in Bangkok.

Great location, good value for money, just opposite to BTS. Suggest to take at least Grand Deluxe room or up which with better bathroom settings. May ask for quiet floor/facing when booking, the room I stayed was facing a construction site which was noisy.

Frankly I did not want to comment on this new fabulous boutique hotel for fear of not getting a room when I go to BKK next month.....but I should not be a dog in a manger. I booked only 2 nights in Sep just to try out and after one night regretted not booking the whole 5 nights I was there on business-cum-leisure. This brand new hotel at only S$70 is VFM and one of the best 3-star hotel I have ever stayed in BKK (I have stayed in >30). The Chongnonsi skytrain station (2 stops to Paragon) is just across the hotel (2 mins walk). The room is clean and well-maintained and BF with a view is adequate. Only the bathroom door has to be redone as it keeps on closing on you. Large LCD tv right in front of your bed. Best feature.....internet-room at 5th floor is FOC for guests. This is fwd thinking by the gracious hotel. The restaurant with a view next to the internet room also serves VFM dishes. The prawn fried rice and kai-lan oyster sauce is out of the world and cost only 150 baht together. Do not miss this fabulous private hotel......

It was a pleasant and memorable experience staying at I-Residence Bangkok. Looking forward to my next trip.

Room condition is exactly as seen as in the picture. I booked 2 Deluxe rooms but was upgraded to grand deluxe (thank you), the room is spacious, modern, with comfy bed and pillow, nice and clean. I like our room eventhough we got no view. The hotel location is good, eventhough it is not in the center of a shopping/tourism area but the sky train is just directly in front of the hotel, very strategic to avoid Bangkok's bad traffic. It is also easy to find a taxi. Breakfast is average but sufficient. You can find small restaurants and food seller on the street just right bellow the hotel and McDonald on the right side. There is also mini market that opens 24hours. The staff is very nice and helpful but they are not very proficient in English so sometimes it is difficult if you need certain information. We got a special promo rate for this hotel, and comparing the overall service and the rate I think it is an excellent value of money. I have recommend this hotel to my friends.

THE HOTEL LAYOUT WAS A LITTLE LAYBACK, BUT BESIDES THAT THE ROOMS WERE SPACIOUS WITH VERY NICE INTERIOR AND LCD TV. THE WASHROOM/ BED ALL WAS WORTH THE MONEY :) THE SERVICE WAS GOOD, ALTHOUGH ENGLISH LANGUAGE SEEMED A PROBLEM FOR FEW PEOPLE IN ROOM SERVICE. BESIDES THAT ALL IS WELL ENOUGH FOR A GOOD SHORT STAY.

They have friendly staffs that make our stay there pleasant.

New and nicely decorated that is just situated oppsite the Chong Nonsi BTS - very convenient with a 24 hr Mcdonald and 7-11 next to it. Will be back again for next visit. Best value for $.
